Mission of Prehistoric Life Wiki
This is just another meaningless duplicate of Dinopedia, isn't it?
Well, the answer is, it's not. We have a unique mission, and we need the help of contributors for it. On many Prehistoric Life wikis, the information is either presented in a disorganized, amateur fashion or is (like Dinopedia) well thought out and well researched. However, the former is useless, and the latter is often "a lot to swallow" for most internet surfers. Therefore, Prehistoric Life Wiki's mission is to focus on the lifeforms in prehistory that are most important to our understanding of paleontology and present the facts about them in a logical manner with as little jargon as possible.
This will make this wiki a great stop for people who want to learn the essential facts but aren't ready for a site like Dinopedia. However, we have not accomplished our mission yet. We have throwaway articles, and are still working on an organization formula. If you are interested in helping, please feel free to apply to Cougarcat, the wiki bureaucrat, or just start pitching ideas for formulas.
Thank you all for reading, and I hope this was enough to convince you of the potential of this wiki.
